DETLING International ANTIQUES
& Collectors Fair

The Kent International Antiques & Collectors Fair at Detling is the county's premier event for Antiques & Collectables. It is held in the John Hendry and Kent Pavilions. Also on the Showground, we provide special shopping arcades and marquees, as well as outside pitches.



The Showground is off the A249, close to Junction 7 of the M20, or Junction 5 of the M2. It is just 30 minutes from Ashford International station, which serves Eurostar, and is approximately 45 minutes away from the ferry service at Dover.

FACILITIES FOR INSIDE EXHIBITORS
Each building has easy access with level unloading and good parking. Facilities for inside exhibitors include electricity (please bring a PAT tested extension lead).

CHAIRS ARE NOT PROVIDED - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN.

Mobile caterers, Toilets.

FACILITIES FOR CARAVANNERS
These are for inside stallholders only and are available on the dedicated caravan area behind the John Hendry Pavilion.

There is a charge for electric hook up for the duration of the fair from Friday through to Sunday. This payment goes directly to the electric contractors. The fee is £12 per caravan/motorhome and will be collected during the weekend of the fair.

John Hendry & Kent Pavilion table top
Single stand - 10ft x 4ft deep - £100.
(one 6ft table, facility of electricity)
Double stand - 20ft x 4ft deep - £150
(two 6ft tables, facility of electricity)

Extra tables are £5 and for inside exhibitors only (these must be pre-booked)

Kent Pavilion furniture pitch - 30ft x 20ft deep - £250

CHAIRS ARE NOT PROVIDED - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN.

Shopping Arcade - 10ft x 20ft deep - £200
 
Outside Pitch - 25ft frontage, most with unlimited depth
              £70 pre-paid - Numbered pitches are available.
              £80 casual. Pay on day, cash only.
              Casual pitches are allocated on arrival.

SETTING UP TIMES

Friday - All exhibitors queue in the Holding Area in the field to the right of the main entrance.

            9:00 AM Kent Pavilion Furniture, Shopping
               Arcades & Marquee Stallholders
            Park, unload & set up.

            9:00 AM John Hendry & Kent Pavilion Table
               Stallholders  enter the showground to be
            parked in their respective queue.

            10:15 AM John Hendry Table Stallholders
            Park, unload & set up.

            10:30 AM Kent Pavilion Table Stallholders
            Park, unload & set up.

            12:30 PM Numbered Pre-paid Outside
               Stallholders enter the showground,
            park on their pitches and set up.
 
            5:00 PM Buildings close. Security takes over.

            12:00 Midnight Gates to the showground closed.

Access to the showground is restricted to Friday stallholders only.

Saturday - 6:30 AM - Gates to Showground open.

                7:00 AM Casual Pitches pay & enter the
                showground.

                7:30 AM Buildings open & Stallholders set up.

                5:00 PM Fair closes and Security takes
                over buildings.

Sunday - 8:30 AM Gates to the showground open.
 
              9:30 AM Buildings open.
 
              3:30 PM Fair closes.

              7:00 PM All stallholders to have vacated the
              showground.
